Mr.K.N. Abdul Gafoor ,had a humble beginning in his early days assisting his father Mr.C.K Kasmi [Founder of Colombo Umbrella House], which is now a 60 year old company. Seeing his business drive and his passion for fashion industry, Formost was born in1988 as exclusive Bombay Dyeing showroom. This showroom later transferred into a fully multibranded family store, to take advantage of the business opportunity.Economic growth in Kerala do spurred K.N Gafoor to set his foot into distribution industry. Fighting all the odds, the firm grew in leaps and bounds, penetrating across the length and breadth with textile fabric of garments.
In 2016, K.N Gafoor decided to take a path to build his own empire, the Kay Enn Trading Co. was born. Kay Enn Trading has three wings:- Distribution, Retail and Uniform. Under Distribution fabrics, most renowned companies are handled along with other lifestyle brands like Euron Italia(Shirts), Super Sox, Action (Footwear),FCUK(innerwear), etc.
Retail Wing handles three ‘FORMOST’ Stores and a Linen Club Store. We are also leading suppliers of Uniform Materials for all schools and institutions. We were also the first to introduce readymade uniform from our high specialized in house stitching unitsBusiness ethics, passion to excel and commitment to the society has been the core values he learned from his mother who always inspired how to fly high.
